The Perfect Attendance celebration is an annual event in some form for Toyota employees worldwide, and became an annual celebration for TMMK. For 20 of the 21 successive years, the Meridian Events team “was in charge”.
Our Assignments
- Create the theme
- Select and hire the name talent. (Talent ranging from the likes of Keith Urban, Jay Leno, Bill Cosby, David Copperfield, Heart, Brooks and Dunn – just to name a few).
- Coordinate venue, catering, rooming, audio visual and stage management logistics.
- Create the supporting collateral, event atmospherics, the giveaways and the fun!
- Coordinate the highly secure and sensitive drawing for TMMK manufactured car giveaways.
Each eligible employee has 1 “card in the hopper” for each year he or she achieved perfect attendance.
As significant as the event itself is, equally important is the participant’s “feedback” after the fact. Perfect attendees are encouraged to submit comments to a confidential hotline – in the spirit of Kaizan (which translates as “seeking constant improvement”). We have used this priceless evaluation technique each year to taper the event to achieve its on-going success.
Our team has been proud to be Toyota’s “go to” source for coordination of this event for two decades.
The 2009 event, however, is a vastly scaled down celebration, minus the expensive entertainment and the Rupp Arena site. Our team has been advised that as soon as the economy rebounds and car sales return to normal, so too will this event and our involvement with it.
